7 주님의 교훈은 완전하여서 사람에게 생기를 북돋우어 주고, 주님의 증거는 참되어서 어리석은 자를 깨우쳐 준다.
8 주님의 교훈은 정직하여서 마음에 기쁨을 안겨 주고, 주님의 계명은 순수하여서 사람의 눈을 밝혀 준다.
9 주님의 말씀은 티 없이 맑아서 영원토록 견고히 서 있으며, 주님의 법규는 참되어서 한결같이 바르다.
10 주님의 교훈은 금보다, 순금보다 더 탐스럽고, 꿀보다, 송이꿀보다 더 달콤하다.
11 그러므로 주님의 종이 그 교훈으로 경고를 받고, 그것을 지키면, 푸짐한 상을 받을 것이다.

“The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple; the precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes; the fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; the rules of the Lord are true, and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, even much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and drippings of the honeycomb. Moreover, by them is your servant warned; in keeping them there is great reward.”
